From the second crop of Widden Stud’s G1 Oakleigh Plate winner Portland Sky, the sire of impressive debut winner Daryte, Lot 317 is the second foal out of the winning Proisir mare Promada, a half-sister to the dual Listed winner Bandipur.

Previous winners of the Oakleigh Plate to go to stud include Fastnet Rock, Snitzel, Swiss Ace, Starspangledbanner and Russian Revolution – all G1 producing sires.

From the family of G1 winners Neroli and Benfica, this colt is bred on the same double Danehill pedigree cross as G1 winners Schwarz, Mizzy and Skybird.
