From the first crop of Daiwa Major’s Champion Japanese 2YO Colt and three-time Group 1 winner Admire Mars, Lot 132 is out of the four-time-winning Redoute’s Choice mare Mardi, who also finished fourth in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes.
The dam of three winners highlighted by this season’s Listed Dulcify Stakes winner Ganbare (Maurice) who went on to finish third in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes two starts later, it is interesting to note that all three winners out of Mardi are by a Japanese stallion, just like Lot 132.
From the family of Group 1 winner Cariere, Group 2 winner Azaboy and the Group 3-winning, Group 1 placed Bianca (the grand-dam of this colt), our colt is out of a Redoute’s Choice mare who as a broodmare sire has recorded just shy of 300 stakes performers led by 26 individual Group 1 winners including Hitotsu and Profondo, both by Japanese sires.
