A son of Darley’s boom sire Too Darn Hot, the sire of over 30 stakes performers led in Australia by the four-time G1-winning, Champion 2YO Colt Broadsiding as well as the local G2 winners Rivellino, Too Darn Lizzie, Shanwah and Too Darn Discreet, Lot 47 is the second living foal out of the unraced Snitzel mare Mandalong Snitjess, a half-sister to the stakes placed Heat Of The Fire, who is in turn the dams of G3 winner Furnaces and Listed winner Volcanic Rock.
Mandalong Snitjess’s first foal, a colt by Written By sold at the 2024 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $700,000 (the highest price for a yearling by his sire), to Aramco Racing and has been named Bugatte and is in the Chris Waller Stable.
From the family of G1 winner Melito, G2 winners Shikoba and Hitabell as well as fellow stakes winners Scorched Earth, Cloister, Zeditave, Alannon, Zedagal and many more, this colt is out of a Snitzel mare, broodmare sire of over 80 stakes performers led by G1 winners Mossfun, Pinstriped, Captured By Love, Celestial Legend, Private Life and Velocious.
